British Red Sportscar

Just had the Mog’s annual MOT, and to my horror, realised it had done only 2600 miles since the last one! Fair enough, it was off the road for a few weeks while I was having the back axle rebuilt, the other excuse being the volume of rain we have had since about August. I don’t mind using the Mog in the rain, but don’t like putting a soaking wet Mog back in the garage… This morning, I have replaced an exhaust bracket, and gobboed another joint, then took it for a nice drive around the local villages.

I’d enjoyed a very tasty filled oatcake…but felt there was room for maybe a small dessert….This was really ace!
Three different flavours, whizzy cream, wafer tubes….aaaaahhhh!

all local, the latest with the walking group..which included a pub lunch at the end of the walk…

but superb roof-off Mog weather! After all the rain we have had, it was nice to get out, and be able to put a DRY car in the garage after a trip! This was just around our local lanes and hilltops…

again, from home…about 6 miles…and for the record, didnt go in any of the 5 pubs I passed!

and it is on our doortep! Depending on which way it is walked, one direction is completely different from the other! Today, anti-clockwise…pictured here are some of the things spotted through my camera viewfinder.

It arrived at Workshop X today…met by Simon, its proud new owner. It used to work in a sugar mill in Queensland, Australia. Buult in 1924 by Fowler, in Leeds, it is now heading for a (quick) rebuild!
