Today’s project…….

I have two plaques to paint for 1215, the Hunslett loco I am helping restore. These need to be painted black, with the surface of the raised letters white. The previous ones I did were reasonably easy to do, just having the number 303 and a border. These will take more time. First plan……. paint the black, then carefully fill the plaque with water, then spray the letters white. Stumbling block 1: the central oval and letters are shallower. The next, and current plan is to paint the plaque black, and use a small roller to paint the letter and oval surfaces. Unless you can come up with a plan………?
